Graduating from Basic Skills

We welcome new members.  To apply for or renew your membership, download the 2011-2012 Membership Application and fill out the information.  Return the application with payment to the Club Box in the rink lobby, to the Aerodrome Pro Shop, or mail it to the address below.

Explanation of Membership Type & Costs

Senior- Skater over 18 years of age

Senior Members who designate Starz of Houston FSC as their Home Club have full membership privileges.

Junior- Skater under 18 years of age

Skaters who are under the age of 18. Junior Members who designate Starz of Houston FSC as their Home Club have full membership privileges and must have a parent or guardian join as an Adult Sponsor. Adult Sponsor (Required for all Junior members): A parent/guardian of a Junior Member. Parent/guardian represents the interests of the Junior Member.

Introductory member-

Skaters who are joining USFS for the first time and who designate Starz of Houston FSC as their Home Club have full membership privileges. Skaters who are under the age of 18 must have a parent or guardian join as an Adult Sponsor. Adult Sponsor: A parent/guardian of a Member under the age of 18. Parent/guardian represents the interests of the Member.

Parent/Sponsor/Additional Family member-

Skaters who are under the age of 18 require a parent sponsor. Through the use of this membership, parents need only pay one sponsorship fee for multiple skaters. Families with multiple skaters only need to pay for one full membership. Sponsors and additional skaters are $30.00 each. A more economical solution for skating families.

Coach- Requires one student member

Allows a coach to be a member provided he/she has at least one student who is a member of Starz of Houston FSC.

Starz of Houston Figure Skating Club is a nonprofit organization that provides its members with a local structure for the  execution of United States Figure Skating testing and competition standards.
